RPi800 represents a new generation of IoT (Internet of Things) devices that enables monitoring of air quality in a real time. The RPi800 system is used for environmental parameters monitoring: the air temperature, humidity and pressure; concentration of the pollutants, the amount of harmful particles/dust (optionally) and noise level. The RPi800 device is designed mostly to be used in the urban areas, where improved measurements of low level concentrations are recommended. It is based on Raspberry PI embedded board. Sensor boards for measurements of gas concentrations, and other environmental parameters, are connected to the Raspberry PI which collects data and sends them via Ethernet interface to the remote server to be stored and processed.

RPi800 is built on a flexible hardware platform which enables easy adaptation of the device to specific customer requirements (i.e. selection of different sensors and inclusion of new functions).
